Welcoming trainees and professionals in the health sciences to catch a breath and gain perspective in the losses and suffering of life.

Guest Speakers:
Dr. Mfanelo Sobekwa: South African palliative care physician, international trainer in spiritual care.

Dr. Alexandra Cist:  Physician, bioethicist, hospital chaplain, will be teaching us on how to patiently walk with those suffering, learning to lament, not hurrying hope.

Together they will be teaching on how to find hope through the journey through trial and suffering.  Our retreat is relevant for those searching for God in their own struggle.  It will also introduce concepts on how we can better accompany others facing illness and other types of suffering.
